The Whole Dance

is the second album

by Atlantic Union

THE WHOLE DANCE was recorded and released in 2004 after Dan Rubin joined the group, replacing Scott Schillereff.

Dan produced the album, featuring gorgeous 3-part harmonies as well as stunning vocals by Sally Goddard supported by Andrew on mandocello and Dan on fiddle, mandolin & bouzouki.

The tunes range far and wide, a comfortable collection of songs new

and old, lost and found.

Starting with Sally and Andrew's roots in Britain, and their deep love for bluesy Southern and Appalachian music, sliding through sly commentaries like A Town this Size, Vikings and Frank Hoorn's Beef Stew then cozying up with Celtic tunes and original instrumental pieces, this album is a memorable journey through traditions from both sides of the pond.

Have a listen and see what you think. . .
